Such markets are usually severely depressed like Anchorage or Oklahoma City in the late 80’s.

So Bigger Pockets, after the financial scare & shakedown in December plus last couple days volatility (even though I look at long term trends) & J Scott’s book, podcast & post on today’s wall, are we headed for the next Great Depression?

I was out and that was all I wanted after that beating.I am not exaggerating when I say that that episode put me into depression for about two years.

There is a boom in gas fracking going on down there where you may find good deals and tenants with good income.I hope I didn't depress you.  

It depresses me.

For such a depressed area of the country, you would think it would be easy to find people to do work and at a reasonable price.  

You're transferring debt to a place where you can depress the daily balance through your normal banking routine.

This has caused me so much stress, anguish  and has my depression is in overload, that I'm going to have to go to the doctor about this.

However, this is more of a national/international event and would not be localized to one depressed region.If you have a strong cash flow now, it will most likely stay that way in a downturn.

Some places in the country are still stuck in depressed markets.I also rented to a young couple who made great money as techies in Silicon Valley.
