I've been doing a ton of research on raw land investing and have decided that it is the route that I'm going to take to break into REI.  

Hi everyone, I currently live in North Carolina where I run a small residential design studio but my wife and I own an acre of raw, undeveloped land in the mountains of northern California (we are originally from the West Coast).

I'm interested in North Texas area for buy n hold, raw land deals, small MF rehabs, and private lending.  

Second, one property is currently raw land and the other is an empty residential lot.

While I'm fixing it up, I get a letter in the mail stating that the raw land behind my house may possibly become a new housing development in the near future.

Similar thing happen to me recently on a raw land deal.
