i met up with a potential tenant today at the property..he likes it..problem is he does not have a job..however he has a disability check for 3200..he wants to prepay 3 months rent and deposit all at the same time...he was surprised i wasn't bothered by this, as other landlords were...why would landlords be afraid of this??

I left my job because they were trying to force me to do something against my disability.

(Special Needs with mild disabilities) Rent by the room at 550-800 per room. 800 rent x 3 bedrooms = 2400  and get  up to 1600 deposit per person x 3 = 4800. 

He will be moving in with a disabled parent, which would probably make it difficult to evict him if he’s late on payments.  

The Fair Housing Center of Nebraska and Iowa also takes the position that tenants are entitled to a comfort/service animal per disability.

I've tried at work, home, school and everywhere in between with the same issue.Now, when you disable ads the site works perfectly - I only did this to test it because i know you guys need them to make a little money

If you give her notice, she could rightly sue for discrimination based on her disability.

Housing discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or disability is illegal by federal law (HUD Discrimination).

Due to a job loss and my having to go on disability, we can no longer afford to stay in our home.

I think that is the law for certain groups like the disabled but check your state.
