I own a duplex in the Hiawatha (south east Minneapolis) neigborhood and bought in 2014 when the prices and inventories were much better. 

Brooklyn might be tough, I grew up in the southeast and now live in the southwest....but I do have a gym buddy from Jersey who is the perfect candidate for narrator.  

For me in the southeast we're starting at about $65/sq ft.

Then I started buying out of state, starting with Austin, then Dallas, San Antonio...then started focusing on the South East.  

I have been in real estate for over 18 years having had licenses in Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and now Florida. In between I had a successful career in the hotel business as an executive Sales and Marketing Director ...
