The direct mail experts say repetition is important.  

It does become overwhelming with the reading but I noticed that a lot of the things that I read about residential rentals and flips have become repetitive.

But this repetitive process is what hardens you, creates your skillset, and ultimately separates you from the rest.

Sorry if this sounds repetitive as I've read a lot of other 1031/HELOC questions but haven't found one that answers my specific question yet. 

I don't read very fast and I find it even harder to store information, so the repetition of information is extremely helpful to me. 

But there's other initial time expenditures such as getting the listing up and running, etc.After that, you'll have a little bit of a learning curve while you figure out the most efficient ways to communicate with the guests, but once you hit a pattern with that, there are tools you can begin using to automate the repetitive parts (and after awhile, a lot of it gets repetitive!).

While deployed, I plan on continually educating myself on REI as well as analyzing at least 5 properties a day to practice through repetition.
