For many it could be a decent strategy to invest their money back into their property.Its the same thing for doing a renovation.

Your there in the mix of it, literally right there in your back yard your seeing this done all the time with STR.

Based on the knowledge and experience you have, would you consider this strategy if you had to go back at my age?

I am 67 and retired as one of the top Business Development entrepreneurs in the United States so this is a fun way to give back to the industry while changing it at the same time it needs it.. and it is that simple. .

sounds like someone got a nasty gram.. we see this with the syndicators that are called out then threaten the investor who called them out.. or anyone else companing about a service only to have the company either threaten or tell them if you take this down or retract we will give you your money back.. kind of like landlords lying about how great their dead beat tenant is to just get them to move on to the next landlord. 

It’s on 5 acres and there’s a small pondhouse ADU at the back of the property.

But as someone who’s been in the trenches of real estate investing for almost 30 years, I continue to see some flaws.Some of the flaws I have witnessed are when tech-driven companies seem to lack backing from experienced underwriters or seasoned real estate professionals.

Two Years from now you can go back and look at the "stupid" questions that you asked and remember that everyone starts somewhere :)
