Unless they were going on deployment, I wouldn't treat them any differently than someone who isn't in the military.

Find the most profitable and least risky ways to deploy your money.

Refinance if you can still cashflow and deploy for other acquisitions.

I think of Joe Asamoah with the Section 8 strategy deployed in Washington DC and keeping tenants for many years (even decades), but maximum reimbursement appears to be $3,740 for 4 bedrooms and market rate family tenants will likely turnover every year or two as they would likely be looking to own in the area.I think rent by the room (students or university professionals) would be the best way to cash flow the property while paying off the mortgage.

If you are wanting to scale: refinance and deploy for additional acquisitions. 

I'd rather move the funds to the US and deploy there.

I kick myself in the butt because I could have deployed it a decade ago when the market was ripe for the picking, but I believed the finance guys the employers provided at their seminars.I have done it.

The capital you are considering deploying can generate a better return elsewhere.
