one thing you need to keep in mind is becoz property tax and insurance from out of state is increasing, the OOS investment is losing competitive advantage now ! 

Something else to keep in mind is your entity structure and how your entities file tax returns.

As long as the distinction stays clear in your mind, I think you will avoid any serious pitfalls.

It sounds like getting furniture and appliances to these places isn't an impossible task, but for my own peace of mind I think I'm sticking to places that aren't that difficult to access.
