My agent in Florida informed me that Universal Insurance Company of North America isn't renewing my policy for an Orlando rental property, which is apparently what they are doing for a lot of policyholders this year.

An AOB is basically when a contractor can step into the shoes of the policyholder and deals directly with the insurance company as if they were the policyholder with all the same policy rights and benefits available to them.

You are merely returning them what they gave you before.

@Mark Petrovic I’m sure with your background and experience you should know that it would be EXTREMELY hard, with the current cost of labor and supplies (especially increasing due to China tariffs), to construct (including land costs) a truly “LUXURY” 64-unit apartment for a mere $78,125 and that’s at the top end of your estimate at $5mil.

OP, your attitude shows your immaturity and lack of compassion for folks (more experienced than you) who are merely offering a helping hand for free - no one is saying you need to agree with everything.
