Thanks for the info @Zac Ballin, I'll definitely be pounding the pavement before I decide where to buy.

We learned a ton through the process (like it's easy to be penny wise and pound foolish and that I'm not the best drywaller, etc.) and mostly just had fun.  

Due to the favourable exchange rates, pound vs US Dollar (sorry guys), I feel that this is a great opportunity to invest in some property in the States.

We have to have diets where we lose 10 pounds in  two weeks, and the late night infomercials tell us we can get rich quick. 

My wife and I had gone to one of those 3-day hotel banquet room 'boot camps' where they pound you with information for a total of nearly 30 hours, gradually taking away tables and seat, increasing the psychological pressure until you either leave or buy-in. 

With the rate of the dollar gaining on the worth of the pound, i think some serious money can be made over here.

You know how they say a photo adds 10 pounds? 

You should really pound them with fees next time they try this.This seems like a concern, them going in and out, in and out of your property like this. 

That's right, for the rest of your career as a Title Agent, when you're part of a 500,000 purchase, you'll now look at the 800 pound Gorilla in the room sitting on a mountain of bananas, that 6 POINTS in Realtor Commission = $30,000  on the CD (closing disclosure) and always think to yourself...
