However looking at the prices and demand once you cross over the border into Charleston County, I can see North Charleston gentrifying in around a decade.

This is largely in part from a lack of inventory in Fairmount which crossed over the border of 25th-33rd & Girard Ave to the now booming Brewerytown.

Consulting with a cross border tax/legal advisor who knows CRA and IRS will save you a lot and is a must.

My rental is in city of Pomona (bordering Claremont and right off the 10 freeway).
