My wife is approved for a home loan, and we can come up with 20% cash because ewe have been good with our money and lived below our means outside of me making the stupid decision to by my house in '07 so we will see how that goes, but if we decide to rent at least I know what my angle of attack will be based off this info.

Most states have emplaced legislation to prevent the resale of distressed properties at a profit with no fix-ups or value-added.Most ethical processes remain in legal in most states, such as acquiring distressed property through a short sale, fixing or rehabbing it and THEN reselling at a profit, etc.The early- to mid-2000's processes of "A -> B -> C" sales with no rehab or value-added by the "B" buyer have been outlawed or seriously inhibited ("title seasoning") due to the rampant abuse which occurred.Even wholesaling of unlisted properties (selling your position in the purchase contract) is under attack in most states.

Sounds like in this case the women had no idea, so I don't think should be attacking them, but he has to be disturbed IMO.If we were to stop a life before conception, you never know what the future heirs of that life may do, they could be a mass murderer or they could be someone who saves your great-gandkids life from a burning house, saving your seed on this earth...no way to know.
