You could get some random guests who are disappointed because there isn’t one... even though there wasn’t one listed.

The major disappointment in my mind is requiring monetary help to get the down payment.

One of my buddies was elated that an apartment he was in doubled in value but was super disappointed when he realized he shared only 20% of the capital gain with the other limited partners.

That sounds like a great success to me, setting the 'disappointing' profits aside. 

So many of our borrowers come to us looking for cash out refi's and expect little to no closing costs and walk away disappointed knowing they have to save up or come up with some liquidity before they can refi out.

Just don't be disappointed when they don't look as good as new.
