I've gone without posting sometimes for years at a time because posts and threads like these are for the most part very tedious, easily misunderstood and difficult to avoid.I'm curious....do you believe that Agents and Brokers as a category have just as many questionable folks, trends and practices as other sectors?

I think regulation of the financial sector is necessary; we all remember 2008, right?

The Fed's narrative was no longer clear with regard to additional needed increases; it seems in my view that the priority has shifted from cooling raising inflation and employment to monitoring banking sector stress and credit conditions. 

Anytime there is a disturbance in the banking sector of this magnitude, it affects all banks.

I also have a solid chance of quickly regaining employment in previous jobs should my current company or industry sector take a turn for the worse.

Unless new companies move into the city and create replacement jobs, all that will remain are lower-paying service sector jobs.

Learn from others in that sector who have been successful and how they've scaled.

Super high debt, super low savings, a terrible oil price, and some massive sector-specific layoffs.

Smaller cities tend to be dependent on a single company or market sector.
