Sarah McVean Aside but having to have cash to bid/close there is an "educated gambling" aspect to these.

Took a couple months to terminate my 'membership' and for the spam e-mails to stop.  

Only reason to keep this property is if you are hoping to get massive appreciation on it, which is basically gambling, and you better have a huge sum of cash to subsidize your rental while you pray for the appreciation.My conclusion...SELL!

Solar roofs are cool along with battery powered cars but I m a practical man and I don't have the money to gamble on technology that is seen as an unproven fad by middle America.

If you can't see yourself owning and renting it don't expect others to do the same, don't gamble on future apperication.

Sending out email marketing without an opt in is called spam, and your message will go straight to their trash.

And it will be a gamble because you can't really answer that question for sure.

That's not to say it it's bad to buy here, but you do have to be picky about what you buy.However, there are greater reasons to invest in SD real estate for a house hack:-Appreciation over cash flow (a gamble, but a fairly safe one over the long term)-reduction of living expenses.
