Nets out zero on the P&L.I have also introduced tenants to services (counseling for hoarding disorder, in particular) and have helped one Section 8 elderly tenant work through their paperwork.In my neck of the woods, low income elderly people are first in line for Section 8 vouchers.

We are going to refi the 72 unit apartments to Freddie.64 units was a great buy at 20k per door, but it has shady tenants and a HAP program (still waiting 4 months to receive voucher money.

Scenario: If a prospective tenant was evicted due to not paying rent, but now they are on a Section 8 housing voucher, do you make an exception or look at this any different than a normal eviction?

From my experience, the tenants have follow the rules set forth by the housing department and the if they have complaints filed against them they can lose their voucher.
