@Trevor Turner, I agree with @Gene Hacker suggestion to quickly read a few books to get a better overall understanding of real estate investing.  

A lot of times a realtor who has experience with house hackers can help you find a lender with the same type of experience.

That's why I think it's important to work with an agent who has worked with house hackers before and therefore worked with lenders who have worked with house hackers before.

I don’t trust those remote WiFi connected locks as hackers can access those.

I've been a licensed real estate agent for over a year now, am a novice house hacker and do insurance by day (which pays the bills but lack the passion for).
