While we wait to find our first deal to unfold, we are in need of housing in the Boston area as we both have jobs lined up in the city after our impending graduation from school.Writing to ask if anyone on the forums is looking to make a deal for a medium/short term rental while we push the process forward.

If you can wait, Id suggest you do so until we get some clarity.If you have a specific scenario, I can be more helpful but short answer is, we are all in this and lenders are adapting as this pandemic unfolds. 

This is all unfolding, so most of us are on the sidelines. 

Obviously I don't think this is happening in the US for many years, and hopefully not ever; but this is a pattern for how revolutions usually unfold.

Currently we are seeing this difficulty of getting financing unfold again. 

Given how fast COVID-19 has unfolded and the fact that lenders obviously can't do anything about existing mortgages, how do they hedge their risk?

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm preparing now for it to unfold like I said above.

However, we did have to contend with the COVID-19 Pandemic...Once under contract and observing the COVID-19 impacts unfold, our team considered finding a way to mitigate the property vacancy as a contingency to continue with closing.

@Dan Heuschele That is great that you are not overextended and are diversified, as no matter what happens, SD should always come back strong as long as folks cash flow through the any possible downturn.I'm planning to rent and wait about a year to see what unfolds price drop wise.

Today, we're 45 days into this crisis and we have to wait to see how this unfolds.
