I don't hang out, almost 0 friends, no kids, always at work, not pursing any of my dreams and my life is just at a real stand still.

I am purchasing 5 to 10 properties a month but that is coming to a stand still with prices of rehab being totally out of my calculations.

Add Election Year and Foreclosure issues to that, and you have a near stand still.

This year I've already had one new store opening, and have a second under construction at the moment that may be completed before FY16 ends as well...Also, the purpose of buying all cash up front was to be able to close quickly and then refinance into long-term debt so I could free up the capital and purchase again...so now my real estate business is at a bit of a stand still...

What was supposed to be a 2 week close turned into nearly a month so being at a standstill on starting renos was less than ideal.

I kinda feel like I may have fought myself to a stand still.  

examples, I feel like I’m at a standstill, that things are taking longer with this REI thing than they should.

The construction may be at a stand still due to an infrastructure or permit issue.I don't understand why the seller is working to so hard to save it from foreclosure.

My husband and I are in a serious situation with a 203K loan that closed/funded and is now at a complete standstill due to the town rejecting permits because of a FEMA regulation that was missed. 

In the news story, the developer was still at a standstill with the city after 4 years.Take this with a grain of salt.I'd talk to other local developers and see what their experiences are.
