Seeking contractors in Detroit

I am seeking contractors in Detroit. This tends to be difficult since costs of rehabbing is high for the actual returns.  the finished product is not expensive since these properties are rentals , I am focusing mainly on cost of labor. I get quotes that differ extremely and I understand the contractor is seeking work but on the other hand is worried that the property owner like my self is just hiring them for a 1 time gig. I am really interested in finding out the rockstars that can complete jobs at competitive pricing in return for a lot more jobs down the road. I am purchasing 5 to 10 properties a month but that is coming to a stand still with prices of rehab being totally out of my calculations. If I had a rockstar that could have a price list ready to go on common work/tasks I can calculate more accurately and of course add any Rising issues depending on the property. If anyone out there has this resource (s) please let me know if  you would like to share with me your (secrets) of the trade it would be greatly appreciated!
