In a duplex I purchased with tenants in it, the one side (who later left) had painted the bedroom RED with a yellow flower painted in glitter paint.

I would like to prevent water damage as much and as soon as possible.Should I consider giving flowers or some other welcome gift to new tenants?

I'm talking about putting down mulch & maybe a couple flowers up; power washing the siding & patio.

.- In the yard grass is your friend and flower beds are your enemy ( unless you enjoy digging cigarette butts out of bushes) Or paying someone to clean them up for you. - Make sure no trees over hang or come close to touching your rough.

Flower Mound is a great area to get into. 

I obviously keep the grass well maintained and sidewalks clean but would some mulch and flowers beds be worth it or just another thing to maintain and not worth my time?
