Curb appeal for finding renters

Does anyone do this? I'm not talking going crazy flip curb appeal. I'm talking about putting down mulch & maybe a couple flowers up; power washing the siding & patio.

I've got a condo; it's a dump; I not only do my place but also mulch the h*ll out of the neighbors as well...when I mean neighbors, I mean several of them. we have to walk by them to get to the garage (detached on opposite side of the condo).

I recently rehabed a house in the dead of winter. We still did the mulch & got the pavers back down. We put some nice front door numbers up in a decorative, vertical fashion. The tenant loved the way it showed at night with the lights.
