Assigning a risk for comparison between two totally different asset classes is not wise investing.

When Im using my own preferred service, Im using apples to apples comparisons.

Door count is a useful way to make quick comparisons between assets within a familiar market.

I have found that the return on a SFH STR in those areas is minimal in comparison to other assets as they require a large down payment, but with management taking on 18-30% of rents it's much more difficult to manage.  

I would recommend creating a market report in PriceLabs for a sample property and then looking at how nearby comparison properties are doing.

Not familiar with propwire to be honest so can't really give you a comparison.
