I train my team to not waste their time snaking if they can’t fix it in 10 minutes and just replace it since toilet is under $300 (I use $120 Costco ones) but yeah these things are difficult to know for regular hosts.Besides that, it is unfortunate but I kinda see why Airbnb made that decision.

I have seen some realtors who have used marketing targeted to 1031 investors as part of their regular outreach. 

I enjoy the guaranteed rent and higher rents than most regular properties with a "normal" tenant.

This setup allows for many different Housing Vouchers such as HOM INC, VASH, Regular S8, Rapid Rehousing, etc. etc. etc.

For example, I think when people look at rental rates in Spain they consider regular annual rentals and Airbnb-style rentals which are two ends of a spectrum and have their respective drawbacks (changing legislation, etc).
