On the more "inexperienced" side, I have a friend that partnered with a syndicator, and that syndicator outlined the following, typical, structure:Deal Sourcing: 20%Underwriting: 20%Asset Management: 20%Capital Raise: 40%Others will partner where splits of various fees/carried interest vary based on each partners roll: i.e. if one person sources the deal, underwrites and asset manages, they get say 70% of AMF, Dispo Fee and Carried interest and 40% of acquisition fee, while the capital raiser keeps 30% of those fees and gets 60% of the acquisition fee.

Jeremy, I hope you don’t take this badly…..I noticed your posts don’t get much “traction” The reason is they read like slick marketing “puff” pieces you find posted on LinkedIn all the time, rather than personally engaged discussions, If you want significant engagement, just write something out, and don’t even “edit” it, just go with the first draft, giving the effect like a personal conversation with someone.

Above just the assumption that it'd be far more of a corporate environment, I just don't think that would happen at a larger shop, at least not for quite awhile, and I do think I would generally be more at home with a smaller office of people (smaller being relative to multi-national, or coast-to-coast, I suppose).Personally speaking, do you find that you're in that type of environment with a boutique brokerage?
