@John Su tenants typically take care of snow when occupied, but owner is responsible when vacant - and some cities write tickets if snow not removed with x hours.In colder climates you also have to worry about keeping heat on when vacant so pipes don't freeze.

Tree work, sewer line replacement/ repair, driveway repair, electrical main service replacement, HVAC, plumbing (galvanized/ polybutylene/ lead pipes failing/ water damage/ mold), garbage disposals, appliances are only made to last 3-5 years anymore, even handy people want $65/hr now, etc.

Pipes were pretty full already and by the time we got in there they clogged up and had to call a plumber to fix for $700 almost right away.

So, if mold simply develops over time and has nothing to do with a claimable situation like a pipe bursting, it won't be covered at all.Beyond that, there is likely a sublimit for mold as mentioned by Ken IF there is coverage at all.
