@Chad Gronan it doesn't seem like they actually changed the listing, it seems like they got multiple good offers and are doing a multiple seller counter offer of highest and best while also allowing new buyers to submit highest and best.

It depends: how much do you know about title reports, purchase and sale agreements, counter offers, negotiating the best deal, addendums, setting up escrow, closing dates, occupancy, transferring utilities, inspections, cure notices, how to handle grumpy sellers or tenants, etc?

Because they were liars.Anyway, the Seller was a bit of a screwball himself, so we never could get him to put a counter offer on paper and now we're looking elsewhere.

time for a new agent. every agent has a duty to present all offers to a seller, you should of received a response in writing stating either acceptance, rejection, or a counteroffer. i would contact the broker and have him do a little investigation, after all all listings belong to the broker.
