That book was exactly what I need to hear as it addressed a point both me and my boss agree with regarding Rich Dad, Poor Dad which is, RDPD does well to help you view money differently, but it doesn't give you a starting point.

Imagine one partner relaying outdated or inaccurate details to a vendor or buyer.

Figure out a question set that helps dive into their expertise as investor-friendly agents, ask about their experience in the investment real estate space, and have them send you a few properties that could meet your goals to show that they can provide quality properties for your to analyze (hint: this is also good to see if they overpromised on their market [ex - Raleigh for cash flow]).Also with the new lawsuit, any agent that knows what they're doing will require you to sign an agency agreement prior to viewing a home.

Do your due diligence, ask the creditors or evicting entity the details of the eviction, how much was due, why did it happen, and was the amount owed satisfied?

Have every detail spelled out, use an escrow account and daily updates verifying all parties are executing their responsibilities.

I view these as fear-mongering, and it makes me bristle.
