Its been awhile since I posted anything, but that's because I have been super busy rehabbing houses:) Which is a good thing, however I have been running into some issues lately with building inspectors.Now I'm not one to cry "chauvinism" or "old boys club" or its because I am "a women".

Now unless lending in Michigan is at the point where bankers are full on embracing the 2008, I can't see any main line bank willing to work with you and offer you the the numbers and ratios you proposed in your initial scenario.

Opportunity has a queer way of stalking the person who can recognize it and is ready to embrace it.

Go in knowing there is an "old boys network" (which does include women who have been bidding for years) that show up and invest each year.

Based on the majority of my feedback asking sellers is he/she is interested in seller financing it's like learning to talk so women all over again!

Just some pointers that I wish I would have truly embraced when I was 20!

I have so much respect for our service men and women. 

Women from out of state inherited a home due to her fathers passing and she knows it needs a ton of work and can't sell on the mls.

I'm young, and a women, and my fear is people will try to take advantage of that.

Hi @Sarah Cheong I attended an investment meet up for women and there were a couple of women who had taken classes from the Wealth Club if I'm not mistaken on the name of the club; however they felt that they could have used the money that they paid for the classes to go toward investing in real estate.
