Hi there! Its been awhile since I posted anything, but that's because I have been super busy rehabbing houses:) Which is a good thing, however I have been running into some issues lately with building inspectors.

Now I'm not one to cry "chauvinism" or "old boys club" or its because I am "a women". Nor do I take things personal. However I am not sure how to feel about this certain situation with one of the inspectors working in the municipality that I am rehabbing in.

He's been difficult since the beginning. He didn't like the contractor I was using, so I had to let him go and find another one. Now I have a new GC and he called the inspector to set up a meeting for us so we can get back on track. However the inspector told him he just wanted it to be him & my GC.

At first I thought, oh okay, he just wants to meet with the GC and set things straight, but the more I thought about it, I am like why doesn't he want me there? So not sure what to think about this. I am going to buy more flips in this area, but how do I deal with this inspector?

Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Thanks in advance:)
