I'm in need of a good General Contractor which is trustworthy since I,m planning on Managing the project from CA. 

I'd like to be able to verify that the wholesaler is trustworthy, and knows what they are doing. 

I deal with wholesalers in Philadelphia and I have 1 in particular that I do most of my business with bc he's the most trustworthy.

Now I just have to keep making calls to banks to narrow it down to one with the best numbers.I have some rehab experience, but I also have a good (and trustworthy) friend that is a GC.

But like Jason said, you need trustworthy boots on the ground.

Here are some of those factors: 1) Landlord friendly states like Indiana, Texas, Colorado etc. 2)Demographics. 3) Growth trends. 4) Economic activities 5) Keep away from over inflated markets like the California Bay area . 6) Reliable and trustworthy boot-on-the-ground partner3)At the end of the day it boils down to the numbers, where can you find a good deal.

However, I'd work to make my portfolio more passive by getting to a number of units that can be run by a property manager or converting to a limited partner in a syndication of a successful trustworthy syndicator or spread among successful syndicators with track records...

Your group has been wonderful and so glad to find trustworthy companies out there.

In short I am looking for someone reliable that is trustworthy and not super expensive.

Finding trustworthy and competent GCs have been the hardest but not impossible.
