This does not sit very well with many - the banks have been paid quite a bit and then they take peoples homes away from them, refuse to do loan modifications and do not use the money given to them by the government for loans.

They seem to stem from loan mods and with CW originations.If the seller started a loan modification, then the the loss mitigators handling short sales will not be able to access the ATR or the SS package.

I have been searching county clerk records for LP and N.O.D's, I have found and have contacted the home owners by direct mail, for about 3 months now, and the response has been 1 in 40 thus far in the first mailing round.I search daily to add about 10 to 15 per day to bring up the numbers.I listened to the second podcast where the guest mentioned that she likes direct mail, but she mails out every 6 weeks.My question is 2 parts:1)With mortgage modifications in play is it safe to say that many distressed owners are slower to respond to this form of contact?
