I have been searching county clerk records for LP and N.O.D's, I have found and have contacted the home owners by direct mail, for about 3 months now, and the response has been 1 in 40 thus far in the first mailing round.

I search daily to add about 10 to 15 per day to bring up the numbers.

I listened to the second podcast where the guest mentioned that she likes direct mail, but she mails out every 6 weeks.

My question is 2 parts:

1)With mortgage modifications in play is it safe to say that many distressed owners are slower to respond to this form of contact?

2)Should I be more aggressive with my mailing schedule, say every 2-3 weeks?
