Not sure what the 4 things (3 white and 1 brown) are mounted along the top of the boiler; possibly zone controls for different parts of the building but then I would expect more piping coming off of them.This boiler is not ancient but far from new / modern.

Hardly anyone is goofy enough to buy 5 house on one lot or an old motor lodge.

@Skip FriszMost of the mini splits (you can get them with a wall mounted head or with a compact air-handler).  

We just mounted them to the soffit of the house.

Again, someone please confirm.Somewhere I actually read (can't remember the source, though, but I believe it was actually an IRS example) that if you were to buy a new motor for an HVAC unit you could not expense (but have to depreciate) that motor as it itself is an integral part of the HVAC which, in turn, itself is an integral part of the building.

Both times I amazingly came out financially on the deal, but in terms of time they're a horrible deal.The first time, it took a week and a half to replace a blower motor over the coldest part of our winter. 

We will be using an exterior mounted on demand water heater (propane).

Central AC is unusual in this area so the window mounted ones are easy to spot.

Maybe a wall mount furnace with installation for $2k.  

I think it was Ohio Health or Mount Carmel that just moved several hundred jobs out there as well.
