This may seem like a silly question, but aren't Landlord Tenant Laws governed at the state level, so each city should have a uniform eviction process that follows the state code?

Maybe I'm being over analytical, but I would, at the very least, match the appliances in color.I would sell the microwave and fridge, and replace them with black ones, just to give the kitchen some uniform. 

Assuming your bathroom is an average size (5' x 8') the additional cost of replacing maybe 4 sheets of drywall versus the labor intensive method of patching, floating and sanding the existing walls, and hoping you get a uniform finish, is a no brainer.
