Replacing Drywall vs. Refinishing Drywall
Guys, I have removed and replaced drywall for 2 of the 4 walls of a bathroom I'm working on (removed to install the tub) in Maryland. The other two walls are in fine condition (need a patch or two only.
If I sand the old walls, when I paint the whole room, will the old walls look different from the new drywall walls? Would you recommend that I consider replacing drywall to provide a consistent finish?
Thanks for the feedback.

First of all that's a great question.
Not knowing the finish on the two remaining walls I'll give you my two cents.
- If the walls have some type of Orangepeel texture (As is common in (Southern California) I would leave them in place and just refinish the walls. This will save you labor and money on material.
- if the walls have a smooth finish, then I would probably also just leave the walls. Unless the remaining walls have some type of Mold.
hope this helps.
Cheers.
