My spam jumped up when I got on BP and started inquiring/subscribing.

Make sure you don't go in spamming people as most groups have guidelines to follow and want folks to contribute.

Rather random question here regarding "spam" solicitations for financing.

Odds are this scam was just after your contact info for spamming purposes rather than looking to actually come to your house, particularly since they posted in several different cities.  

This is a great place for everything real estate without a bunch of spam.

@Paul Jamgotch  I find the  ( report this as spam ) in your PM inbox is a useful tool.I just crack up when someone sends me a message I see your posts on BP and it looks like your really interested in this market here is a great 40k rental  LOL...

I reset the email and still have not received a link in my email and I checked spam.

Long story short, he blew the deal (the "final and best" email got caught up in his spam mailbox and so I missed the Friday deadline), then he lied about it, then he sent me a long mea-culpa confessional email.

However, facebook has way too much clutter, spam, and fraud so I really don't use it much for RE purposes.
