My market is mainly made up of vinyl siding homes from the 60s, i had the bright or maybe not so bright idea to brick the front of a flip in my area to outdo the comps that are only vinyl.. this is if the preexisting foundation allowed for it...Is it worth it?

It called preexisting nonconforming grand father.

Recourse exists.If your contractor requires payment up front, I would do one of the following, or hire someone else if there is no pre-existing relationship and you are uncomfortable paying them:1.)

I've painted and it just smells like paint mixed in WITH the pre-existing smell.

This construction could change the building demographic and it is unclear what effect it would have on the pre-existing tenants.

The law requires syndicators to have pre-existing relationships with sophisticated investors; so building relationships with syndicators is key to gaining access to passive investments.

What I don't know is how this may be affected by the fact you have a preexisting lease that does not contemplate assistance.

Plus the taxes won't kill me with a pre existing home so I'm all for that!
