Rental is owned in nc. Specifically Raleigh. The lease doesn't specify anything about bug treatment or whose responsibility it is to treat for them. Is this the tenants responsibility or owners? This is in a condominium. But I am also curious about single-family and multi-family.

In my single family Raleigh rentals, I have paid for pest control if they complain within 30 days of moving in, but I let them know it's a one-time thing as they are responsible in my lease.  I have gotten into the habit, however, of leaving a bottle of the same home insect perimeter spray that I use on my home and tell them that it works well for me.  In a condo situation, I think it would depend on the closeness of the units, like is it an end-unit townhouse style with a firewall in between, or more apartment style with others above and below?  Although I likely would still offer the perimeter spray and see if that helps.
