In my class I met someone who does general contracting (we're meeting), a couple that does cleaning (commercial and residential), a painter, a couple who owns a custom cabinetry company, and a stager/designer (good to know, but my sister is great at interior design and I'll probably collaborate with her for staging/decorating at least in the beginning).

Not sure what that is, but if you're talking about glazing, find an old school painter - they're likely to be able to assist you.  

Need good and inexpensive painter for exterior of home in suburb of North Atlanta Metro area.

(but looks like you would for first month)...so back to your situation, which is not clean, but check your state rules and verify without the signed lease, you reverted to the month to month, so I would really document and communicate the end of June move out date (like verbal plus a follow up more formal looking letter) and prepare for the move out then and the painters, etc to come in..

Yard has a fence gate which only allows a push-mower through.Any suggestions from you all in that area of ME for 1) a neighborhood lawn guy 2) cleaner 3) painter/handyman?  

I really needed a drywall/painter contractor for that project so I start asking around.

The last painter I hired, which granted is a fairly modest job compared to what many contractors are doing on your major renovation projects, my dude gave me copies of all the receipts + a summary of receipts page, as well as a bill showing his hours worked and hourly wage, and a final piece of paper that literally had $Parts + $Labor = $TotalBill.I felt that this was uber transparent and really appreciated it.

I would call several painters and once they have quoted ask each of them if that is the best they can do.

But I use blue painters tape and I tape it directly to the front door right next to the lock.
