Also, would I coordinate the same day with a locksmith to change locks and put a lock box on the door? 

That option was not in the budget.A lock smith is $75 minimum.

You can always have a locksmith change the locks the second after you close.

Have a locksmith ready to rekey the locks as advised by @Curt DavisAlso a return of security deposit without deduction will make the tenant move out amicably.If your property is under third party management, they should be able to help out. 

I have a Yale smart lock on the deadbolt, and the locksmith suggested that he rekey the doorknob so that any key would open it.
