One of our tenants with one child told us that they had been paying $60/month at the laundry mat to do their laundry, they are much happier now that they have it in their home.In my experience, renting an apartment that at least has access to laundry it much easier than one without.

I personally believe the best way to help a community is not necessarily to provide handouts or support a divisive agenda but rather provide education; In particular financial education and ethical guidance which can help people own their future, allow for greater chance of success, and live happier lives.This is not necessarily a statement for or against the BLM non-profit as I don't know much about the organization.

Call on “for rent” signs to ask if the owner has thought about selling, do direct mail marketing or cold calling to owners of properties in your desired area that meet your criteria, etc.Sometimes people even make deals with family members who were about to list a property or were thinking about selling, and are much happier selling to a family member once they knew s/he was looking to buy.

For example if you could get 2 duplexes a year (1 house hack, 1 save from your w2 & put 20-25% down) in a decent neighborhood of Chicago you'll be a lot happier in 10-15 years than if you get 3 or 4 cheap duplexes in Lima, OH, etc, etc.

We find that although many owners wish for a live-reporting feature, we don't think it would actually make them any happier once that becomes available - they will just have more reasons to panic unnecessarily.One thing that is annoying is the AppFolio statements have a "remit balance" line at the bottom.
