Along with sloped ceilings, we use the "eyeball" trim to "throw" light against a wall or highlight a fireplace etc.

Running comps this way doesn't take into account updated kitchen and bathrooms, finishes such as hardwood floors/granite counter tops/stainless steel appliances or amenities such as pools and fireplaces, etc.The best way to get a comp is to look at what recently sold within a 1-2 mile radius of the property you're looking at.

Things I think we should look for are asbestos, lead base paint, floor settling and sinking, shingles popping up, closet space/fire place, galvanized plumbing.

I vote for matching doors, and paint so they match the storm doors that should go on.I'd do white wash on brick and grey siding with white trim. don't forget the brick on the fireplace will need to be done also. white trim is easy to match for windows and doors in the future. the downspout gutter thing down the center looks rather wierd could downspout be rerouted to go to ends of building..
