I made the mistake of only saving enough to pay for my class/my finger prints/ my test/ and my national/state/local dues, MLS fees, and SupraKey.

Fingerprints- 45. 

.$40 fingerprinting fee.

I do have like 10 days before i can do any sort of "work" yet though because i just sent in all the paperwork, fingerprints, etc. and was told it would be about 2 weeks before i get my 'realtor number' (not sure what it's called).

The nice gentleman administering the exam told me to get my fingerprints AFTER (in VA potential agents have to be fingerprinted for background checks) I find a broker.

I understand there are other items included in the application/testing process (fingerprinting, background check, etc), but wanted to find a reputable school (preferably online) from which I could complete the required class work.Any information/experiences would be greatly appreciated!

But reporting the theft to the police might be required by the insurance company and it also puts the details into the police crime data base.When my house in San Jose, California was burglarized twice in the 1980s, I had the police come out (non-emergency phone call) to take the report and dust for finger prints.

Then there was another $300ish in other required classes (contract writing, and another one i forget), fingerprinting, stuff like that.

I start real estate school in 3 weeks and get my book and finger printed tomorrow.

I think the issue would be regarding obtaining the required level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
