Are there any commercial land or large tract residential land investors here?

Surrounding my property is a 70 acre tract of land which is absolutely beautiful untouched ground.

And there are income limits by census tract, with the caveat that (for example) in 90% of Oakland the income limit is "No Income Limit."

@John Watson are you keeping tract of your expenses on an excel spreadsheet or quickbooks, etc?

My friend keeps adding tracts around it, but not contiguous to it. 

For an area to qualified as an opportunity zone, the census tract must have at least a 20% poverty rate and 80% of the median income must not exceed 80% of metro or state level.

when you start with an end in mind, its easier to digest whether you need a team, a mentor or maybe both. 

Are you planning to buy a lot off an existing tract or are you planning to build somewhere where you would need to bring in main utilities.
