From the resources online, it looks like there are some STR bans, but many of the articles are outdated.

I was using my condo as an Airbnb but the condo association cracked down and banned short term rentals so I turned it into a corporate rental and I always have either a tenant from an insurance company or a traveling nurse.

It is fairly common for Condo the limit the amount of renters, or ban them all together.

In today's world filled with COVID eviction bans I would never ever never purchase a home with a tenant in it if I needed the home to be vacant.
