Having this license gives a big relief in terms of not waiting for an agent to show you a house and write your offer ( You can do all this yourself ) of course this comes at a price but what's easier in life ?

Well, Like HAMP modifications, Federal law prohibits the lender from taking any action if the borrower is subject to bankruptcy protection so, if they did file bankruptcy and it was not dismissed, my guess is the lender moved for relief and was granted relief to proceed with foreclosure.

This is a rare occurrence though.If a borrower is in an active bankruptcy (Regardless of chapter) the only way there could be a sale is if the creditor filed and received relief from stay to proceed with foreclosure sale.
