I do not know what your family/home situation is, small children, space issues, but I had an acquaintance (her son lived with her but he was grown) who turned her dining room and living room into offices and had 2-3 others on her team that just came to her house and worked from there.

You can put one or two little things on the kitchen counter, bathroom counter, and I have put a table and chairs in the dining room before with a sign on it saying "have a seat and write up an offer" with a stack of RE contracts.

My son went the route of buying a single family home, 3/2, set up so that the dining room could be closed off and made into a 4th sleeping area and still have plenty of space - easy in Florida because of the way they set up their houses.
