I’m under the impression that I’m a double closing that you would need funds upfront to cover the cost of buying the property from the seller then going back to the end buyer and finishing that contract and that’s where you would make your profit.

Maybe an older house on land you could buy that eventually might be torn down and a new larger one built.You could also buy in a new subdivision stage zero and when finished out in a few years hopefully have some nice equity growth.I tend to not like areas that are EN VOGUE currently because of a stronger economy.

In in May of 2000, I sold it for 62K and a 3 bd 1ba house in Vergennes VT for 94K in June of 2000.As mentioned, I started house hacking by finishing a basement room and renting out the three bedroom house.
