Duplex or triplex am thinking investing for my future. Any ideas?

Hello all I am looking to purchase a 2 story family home in the 19120 section of Philadelphia. I was wondering how to go about making that property in a duplex or at least rent the upstairs because is big enough to make a kitchen. Rent first floor with finished basement. The property disclosure reads that is a townhome rm1. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated before I pull the trigger on this deal...
